I loved this book but it should've been the 4th book of the Bill Hodges series. Sure, Bill isn't in this book for obvious reasons but it's still related to [b:The Bill Hodges Trilogy|27406812|The Bill Hodges Trilogy|Stephen King|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1463042065l/27406812._SY75_.jpg|47454319] and it spoils a lot of things from the trilogy.
The story is a lot like classic King novels like IT, the creature in this novel may actually be related to IT too.
The mystery in the first half of the book is amazing, it leaves the reader as confused and flabbergasted as the characters themselves.
And when it comes to King's detectives, I think I prefer Ralph to Bill Hodges.
