Wow! What a horrific and excellent story...
I loved the writing and the thrilling mystery. As the author quotes at the beginning, Black history is Black horror, and the most horrific parts of this story were the non-fictitious ones. As for the fictitious parts, those were horrific by the fact of how likely they would be to happen. I only have one complaint: there were quite a few pop culture references, particularly American ones, which are a bit difficult to grasp for a non-American reader, though I suppose the general meaning could be understood.
