Here is a gripping account of one of the most important trials in history. Although at the start it might feel like a regular lecture on WWII history, it quickly becomes clear that this isn’t an ordinary account of the war and the genocide. This book is a superb piece of historical reporting, wonderfully written and too painful to read, and yet remains one of my favourite WWII books.
