I needed to take a few days to process this book. I loved it a lot especially the audiobook, I finished it in about 24 hrs.

I enjoyed the pacing of the book, it was really different for me that Larissa's boyfriend wasn't the main focus of the book or the male main character. Overall, I liked Chris was protective and took care of her when no one else would. Chris and Larissa had such chemistry, connection and overall communication when it came to one another whether it was understanding or support. I wasn't a fan of the emotional cheating (yes, I am that person) but I understand how Mike drove her away from him and towards Chris. I also like how Abby develops the characters in such a way that we get to see how their past shapes their present and future. With Mike, you could see he wasn't the best version of himself for himself or Larissa and how he needed to find a way to get better. I would have loved to have seen more from Chris and Larissa's relationship though especially after wanting them to be together throughout the whole book.
