After a year of reading almost entirely Brandon Sanderson books, finishing them off and moving to something else I certainly was not expecting to read something SO GOOD so soon.
In a year where a read Stormlight Archive 1-4 (easily now amongst my favorite books) this one ranks right up there with them. It's hard to really explain fully why I liked this so much, perhaps it was the completely way of telling a story within a story, or perhaps it was the incredibly well done pacing. It's a slow burn, but it's done in such a way that makes you not want to put it down. Once I really got started (maybe about 20% in) I ended up finishing it in just a couple days.
I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
