This was such a fascinating deep dive into a case I never really followed closely when it was happening. Seeing the story through the eyes and experiences of these three women made it especially interesting, particularly the way they dissected interactions, comments and behaviours and explored the psychology behind it all.
I loved being able to pick apart the little details and look at the case from a psychological perspective rather than just following the headline version of events. It made me think about the people involved and the dynamics between them in a completely different way.
And honestly, the fact that this happened right in my own backyard made the whole thing even more fascinating. I remember the case being current, but I never really followed the trial closely, so getting to dive into it properly now was a really interesting experience.
Definitely one of those true-crime books that had me going down the rabbit hole.
