The Murder Complex

Fifteen-year-old Meadow Woodson has been trained by her father to fight, kill, and survive — skills she needs in a Florida ravaged by disease, where the murder rate outpaces the birth rate and a shadowy organization called the Murder Complex tracks the population with brutal precision. When she meets Zephyr James, a ward of the state, their lives collide in a way neither expects: Zephyr, unknown even to himself, has been programmed by the MC as one of its assassins. As Meadow is drawn deeper into a conspiracy that threatens her family, she and Zephyr must decide whether their fates were written for them — or whether they can fight to change them.
