The whole aspect of the fog, the world of dreams, wishes, and nightmares felt very interesting and original to me. But I think it lacked more development because it didn't feel apocalyptic even though the “normal world” underwent a complete turn.

The romance was okay, I don't think I enjoyed it as much, and it was my fault for having read other books with shadow themes in the same month. The worst part is that I didn't learn my lesson and read the second one afterward.
