Synopsis

The Missing Sister is the seventh and final novel in Lucinda Riley's Seven Sisters series — and different from the six before it, since the seventh sister was never adopted by Pa Salt and has no connection to Atlantis or her five adoptive siblings. When Pa Salt's lawyer gives the sisters a single clue to her whereabouts — an image of a star-shaped emerald ring — they set off across the globe, from New Zealand to Canada, England, France, and Ireland, determined to complete their family before the first anniversary of their father's death.

The trail leads to Merry McDougal (born Merope), who has just lost her husband and is on the trip of a lifetime, unaware she is being sought. Her contemporary story is woven together with a historical thread set in County Cork during Ireland's War of Independence, following the bravery of a young woman who risked everything for her country's freedom — a legacy that turns out to be Merry's own.
