J. J. Smith, the meticulous Keeper of the Records for The Book of Records, travels the world documenting the most unusual feats. Despite his encounters with the extraordinary, he has never witnessed true great love.

His quest leads him to a small American town where a farmer is attempting to eat a Boeing 747, piece by piece, as a testament to his affection for a woman.
