Synopsis

Jack Audley, a former highwayman and soldier, finds his carefree life upended when he's identified as the long-lost son of the House of Wyndham. If his birth is legitimate, he'll inherit the dukedom he never wanted. Grace Eversleigh, companion to the dowager duchess, finds her routine shattered by Jack's rakish charm. As their attraction grows, Grace realizes that if Jack is the true duke, he's the one man she can never have.
