Synopsis

Philosopher Peter Singer challenges readers to confront global poverty and their role in alleviating it. He argues that our current responses are insufficient and ethically questionable, proposing a practical seven-point plan for personal philanthropy, local activism, and political engagement. This book encourages a re-evaluation of what it means to live an ethical life in a world where eradicating poverty is within reach.
