Synopsis

Ayla and Jondalar have finally found a home among the Zelandonii, but the transition from nomadic life to a settled community brings unexpected social friction. As Ayla trains to become a spiritual leader, she must balance her duties to her young daughter and her unique bond with animals against the demands of the Sacred Caves. This final chapter of the Earth's Children series follows her journey through the ice-age landscape as she seeks to unite her past with her people's future.
