Synopsis

Cressida Merriton, a diplomat's daughter accustomed to independence, finds herself back in England living with her reclusive godmother. Her worldly experiences set her apart from the other debutantes, making it puzzling when her godmother's handsome nephew seems unaffected by her lively charm.
