Those revenge and betrayal, too cunning and devilish. Totally love Swanson's way of structuring and developing his narrative, even his phrasing was really intriguing (love how consise and short it goes) that it grips me at every end of chapters-- too neat, full of tensions and so tightly plotted.\n\nI think the characterization was the biggest flex of the book. I love Lily, and was actually rooting for her (she is sure one of my fav villain-ish characters now). Ted as well, but his life was too short and authors really love to kill your fav character unknowingly like that so I digress. Fancy the psychological part of it; how both Miranda and Lily being so manipulative it gets too nerve-racking for me thinking how unlucky for Brad to meet those two. Although I don't like Kimball's chapters that much somehow his obsessiveness adding more thrilling chills for Lily's character. \n\nThat ending; as much as I think Lily could get away with her plans and secrets, it stunned me (thanks for the letter, Dad).
