Charlotte Perkins is a 70 year old widow with 3 estranged children. She’s lonely after the death of her best friend Minnie and decides to enter a contest to win an all expenses cruise around Europe. After a few Chardonnay’s and a sexy essay later, she’s packing her bags and making her 3 kids come with her.

Her kids Regan, Lee and Cord have all got issues. With their parents never speaking about problems and always wanting to look picture perfect it’s no wonder they all lead individual lives. When everyone’s problems come out in the open on this cruise, it forces this family to reconnect and help each other out.

I’m sorry everyone but this book was not for me. It seemed to be a lot of writing with no real progress, some of the situations were a little unbelievable and I didn’t really connect with the characters! I do feel like it would make for an excellent movie though! (Only if Reese did it!
