The Intruder

Maria and William appear to have it all: two happy children, a beautiful house, and a thriving business. Then their home is invaded one night by David, an embittered ex-employee with a score to settle, and the couple are plunged into a terrifying fight to survive.

Over the course of a single hellish night, David sets about picking apart the carefully constructed life the pair have built, and as he does, secrets are unearthed and uncomfortable truths revealed. But David soon begins to wonder whether he has bitten off more than he can chew, because Maria and William are not the defenceless couple he imagined.

A twisty, fast-paced cat-and-mouse home-invasion thriller, the story shifts between the perspectives of the husband, the wife, and the intruder, steadily turning the tables as the night wears on and no one in the house is quite who they seem.
