Synopsis

In 1850 Manhattan, Cora Lee, born with two hearts, navigates society's extremes as the city's sole female resurrectionist. She procures anomalous bodies for anatomists, a lucrative trade that also helps her evade those who seek her as a prize. As a series of murders draws closer, Cora finds herself unable to trust even those closest to her, including the medical student she loves, as someone intends to claim her life prematurely.
