Synopsis

An alien lands on Earth with a mission: observe humanity and report back. He assumes the identity of a Cambridge professor, but finds himself increasingly bewildered by human behavior, from their strange customs to their capacity for both love and violence. As his time on Earth extends, his initial disgust begins to shift into something more complex.
