Synopsis

Esme has just come through a bitter divorce. Caroline is quietly wondering whether her own marriage will survive the discovery that her nineteen-year-old son is using drugs. The two friends have been inseparable for years, and a week in a beachfront house in Shoreham, Florida seems like exactly what they both need — so they book it, and invite Esme's brother Nick and his new husband Ford along to keep the mood light.

The first night is close to perfect. By morning, one of the guests is dead.

What looks at first like a terrible accident quickly stops looking like one, and the small group of people sharing the house are left to consider what each of them stood to gain. Margot Hunt keeps the cast tight and the pace fast, peeling back a motive at a time until the last one lands.
