Synopsis

In the winter of 1937, the Ichiyanagi family's wedding night ends in horror: the bride and groom are found slashed to death in a locked room, the only trace a bloody sword thrust into the snow outside. Amateur detective Kosuke Kindaichi is called in to untangle a case with no way in and no way out — the first appearance of one of Japanese crime fiction's most enduring investigators.
