Synopsis

Sir Godfrey Tallboys returns to his Suffolk estate after years of fighting and slavery in Spain, but his arrival is complicated by the young Moorish woman at his side. While his wife Sybilla has struggled to maintain their home during his absence, she must now face the presence of the girl who saved Godfrey's life. This 15th-century historical drama explores the domestic tensions and cultural clashes that arise when a soldier brings the remnants of his crusade home.
