Synopsis

In the second book of Jennifer Lynn Barnes's Inheritance Games series, Avery Grambs has survived her first, dangerous stretch inside Hawthorne House — but the puzzles are far from solved. Tobias Hawthorne left behind more than a fortune; he left a trail of clues that seem designed to lead somewhere, and to someone. The deeper Avery digs, the more she suspects the old man's final game was about far more than money.

Working alongside the four Hawthorne grandsons — and torn between the guarded Grayson and the reckless Jameson — Avery chases a mystery that reaches back into the family's tangled history and the secrets they've spent their lives protecting. Every answer uncovers a new riddle, every ally may be hiding something, and the stakes climb with each revelation.

Fast-paced and full of twists, The Hawthorne Legacy deepens the puzzle, the danger, and the romance at the heart of the series.
