Synopsis

Isadora Bentley believes in facts, not feelings. As a university researcher, she has a very comfortable, completely isolated life, and she wants to keep it that way. But on her thirtieth birthday, she makes an uncharacteristic impulse purchase: a magazine featuring a silly article, "Thirty-One Ways to Be Happy." Determined to prove the writer wrong, Isadora launches her own secret research project, testing each step herself. What she doesn't expect is that her experiment will lead her to a quirky cast of characters — Cal, Darby, Marty, and young Delilah — and a handsome professor who might just challenge her theories on love and happiness.
