Synopsis
When the ancient djinn king Melek Ahmar awakens, he expects to conquer the city of Kathmandu, only to find it ruled by an all-seeing AI named Karma. To his surprise, the citizens are content, leaving only the exiled Gurkha soldier Bhan Gurung to pursue a decades-old vendetta against Karma. Pushed by Gurung, Melek Ahmar becomes entangled in conflicts that force old secrets to surface and the city to confront its future.
