The great zoo of China

China has a secret that will change the world: deep in a remote province, the government has spent decades building the most ambitious theme park in history, a rival to Disneyland, stocked with an attraction no one could imagine—living, breathing dragons, a species of archosaur that survived extinction by hibernating beneath the earth. Dr. Cassandra 'CJ' Cameron, a reptile expert and veterinary journalist, is flown in with a handful of Western VIPs to preview the zoo before its grand unveiling.

But the dragons are far smarter than their captors believe, and they have been waiting. When they break containment, the preview becomes a desperate fight for survival across the vast park. In the blockbuster tradition of Jurassic Park, Matthew Reilly's The Great Zoo of China is a relentless, set-piece-driven action thriller that barely pauses for breath.
