It took me a while to decide how many stars to give this one. At times, I was completely hooked. I think it was incredible how author made a fictional story feel like real life, especially in the beginning. The characters felt real, and I could really feel what they were going through.
But there were also times when I got lost in the details, and some parts felt unnecessary or went nowhere. Some characters were mentioned just to disappear later in the book.
My curiosity made me want to know what happened next, but the closer I got to the ending, the more I thought about just putting it down. Unfortunately, toward the end, the story became too obvious and stopped feeling believable.
