Synopsis

In a land ravaged by storms and war, Mina's village offers a maiden to the Sea God each year to appease his wrath. When her beloved brother Joon follows the latest sacrifice into the sea, Mina bravely takes her place to save him. She finds herself in the magical Spirit Realm, where the Sea God lies in an enchanted sleep. With the help of a mysterious young man and a cast of mythical beings, Mina must find a way to wake the Sea God and end the storms before her time in the spirit world runs out.

Axie Oh is a first generation Korean American, born in NYC and raised in New Jersey. She studied Korean history and creative writing as an undergrad at the University of California – San Diego and holds an MFA from Lesley University in Writing for Young People. Her passions include K-pop, anime, stationery supplies, and milk tea. She currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada with her puppy, Toro.
