Synopsis

In a future where global power has shifted east and revolution simmers, two women embark on urgent and unexpected journeys. Meena, fleeing India after discovering mysterious snakebites, seeks refuge on the Trail, an energy-harvesting bridge across the Arabian Sea, heading for her birthplace, Ethiopia. Meanwhile, Mariama, a young girl in Africa, joins a caravan of misfits crossing the Sahara, aiming for the radical and vibrant city of Addis Ababa. Their paths, one heading east and the other west, are mysteriously and shockingly intertwined.
