Synopsis
A killer strikes under Frederickport Pier, and the town that Danielle Boatman has slowly stopped thinking of as sleepy proves the point again.
At the edge of the case is a mystery writer, which is either a coincidence or the sort of thing that only looks like one. Danielle has the advantage of witnesses no detective can interview, and the disadvantage that none of them are obliged to be useful.
