Synopsis

Three years after her husband's death, Lilian Girvan is a single mother struggling with the mundane. Overwhelmed by being underwhelmed, she finds an unexpected new path when her job as an illustrator leads her to a vegetable-gardening class. Reluctantly joining with her daughters and sister, Lilian discovers that getting her hands dirty in the Los Angeles Botanical Garden might just be the fresh start she needs, with the help of a patient instructor and a quirky group of fellow gardeners.
