Synopsis

A seemingly perfect 1960s British family — husband David, wife Harriet, and their four healthy children — is upended by the birth of a fifth child: Ben. Born with severe physical deformities and an uncontrollable temper, Ben's presence slowly poisons everything around him, forcing his parents to confront whether love can survive something they cannot understand or contain.
