The Ex Daughters Of Tolstoy House

Meera appears to be living the perfect life inside Tolstoy House, in the insular heart of Lutyens' Delhi: a good husband, Ambarish, and three obedient daughters, Sujata, Kavita and Naina. But Ambarish's disappearances in the middle of the night, and the salt he leaves scattered on the floor, lead her to a dark secret — one that brings the past into the present and threatens to consume her daughters' lives. Naina has followed her father's orders for nearly thirty years, so when he calls on her to wipe the blood off a dead body, she obliges; this time the body is her mother's. Forced to reckon with her own complicity, Naina must navigate her family's history if the next generation is to have a better life.
