I realllyyyy wanted to give this one a four, but I couldn’t ignore that this one didn’t grab me like the other three books in the series. This book still has the evil villains down perfectly. I hated them so much, I had to put the book down sometimes. I felt like it didn’t feel as “epic” as the other books, and the towns didn’t feel as wrapped up in the story as usual. Basically: Ragna is an amazing character, and also Edgar is there. If you love the series, I’d still recommend this book. This is not the place to start if you’re new to it.
