Craig Dirgo is an American author of adventure and techno-thriller novels, as well as non-fiction. The son of an Air Force colonel, he spent much of his childhood on military airfields in the United States and England. In 1987 he began working as a special projects director on expeditions for Clive Cussler's National Underwater and Marine Agency (NUMA), later becoming a trustee of the organization.
