Huuuff!! Finally completed the book 3. And believe me when I say that completing this need some serious dedication.

Not gonna lie, the Iron Tangle was super confusing, at the beginning I felt supid as I was getting anything about the train line system. 🚂🚋🚃🚋🚃🚋🚃 But later I figured that it was intentional, you don't need to understand the whole system, just enjoy it.

I really loved how in this book everyone came together to try to figure out the way out of this floor.

Really excited for the next entry!!!

Glurp! Glurp! Glurp!

Bro...the trains/train station were uber confusing. Did not like this one bit. Couldn't focus on the story because I didn't understand the environment very well. Off-putting. Glazey-eyed reading... "Oh well, it probably doesn't matter anyway" (and it really didn't.) The story progression elements were good but man, those trains though. No thanks. Still want to find out what happens to the crew but please for the love of god, no more damn trains.

This entry to Dungeon Crawler Carl series is easily my favorite so far! Even though the Iron Tangle confused me to no end (and thank god that was actually intentional because I was starting to feel so stupid, haha) the payoff was completely worth it.

What really sold this one for me was the incredible character development. Honestly, when Katia was introduced in the last book, I wasn't really convinced I'd enjoy having her around. But I'm so glad everything changed here; she has officially become my new favorite right alongside Carl, Donut, and Mordecai.

It was also awesome meeting so many of the other wild and varied characters that make this series great, like Imani, Ellie, and Batista. And oh man, that brief appearance by Prepotente? Absolute comedic gold. Matt Dinniman absolutely nailed it with this one!
