Synopsis

The cold, precise Duke of Montford runs every corner of his life by strict rule and order — so he's furious to learn that the tenant managing his Yorkshire estate has been dead for a year, and a stranger has been running the business in his stead. Arriving to sort it out, he finds fiery, independent Astrid Honeywell, an educated bluestocking who's been quietly keeping the estate running herself. Montford and Astrid loathe each other on sight — and can't stop thinking about each other either. Trouble is, Montford already has a fiancée waiting for him back in London.
