This comic is particularly relevant in this age of fake news and conspiracy theories resurgence, especially in the US. A year ago, I learned that flat-earthers is a thing, and I'm still recovering from the shock that people can be so..., let's call it gullible. And apparently, (I learned this from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm) there is a QAnon conspiracy theory that the American Democrats' drink children's blood? I cannot seriously believe that there are adult people out there who believe these childish, nonsensical stories. Believing that Santa is real, would be less illogical. Anyway, this comic really hits at the centre of this current, nightmarish reality.
