Synopsis

When happily married Grace comes home early one night and catches her husband, Dominic, with another woman in the cabin at the bottom of their garden, she is shocked, furious, and above all hell-bent on revenge. Acting fast, she locks the pair inside the cabin while she decides what to do with them. As Dominic and his mistress desperately try to escape their prison, Grace coolly works out her plan on the outside, drawing on past experiences that suggest this might not be the first time she has done something like this. The novel keeps asking who the real villain is: the cheating husband, or the vengeful wife. A fast-paced psychological thriller built around betrayal, captivity, and escalating menace, told with mounting dread as the balance of power shifts and Grace's history surfaces.
