The Company of Fiends

After eight years treading the boards with the Company of Fiends, actress Hazel Nix is growing weary of the entertainment business. The theater has always been the perfect hiding place for a girl with a secret she keeps even from her more monstrous castmates, but for all her lovers, on stage and off, she has never made a lasting connection with anyone.

That changes when an intriguing new patron begins courting her attention. Their pull toward each other builds just as the theater is struck by disaster: girls from the company start going missing, and a run of suspiciously bad luck begins to plague the stage. Hazel must untangle whether her new patron is connected to the trouble, all while confronting how much of herself she has hidden even from the people closest to her.
