Synopsis

Ruth Connelly's seemingly perfect life with her husband, Paul, and their two children begins to unravel. A summer trip to their Maine coast house, usually a sanctuary, becomes a crucible for their strained family relationships, especially with their troubled teenage daughter, Josie. Tragedy strikes during a sailing trip, plunging Ruth into a spiral of grief and denial. She must return to Maine to confront her loss and understand the painful truths within her family.
