Synopsis

Kate Chandler, a world-class jewel cutter, faces the opportunity of a lifetime to cut seven rare sapphires. However, the gems vanish during a transfer, along with her half-brother, Lee, who is now presumed dead. Accused of a cunning bait-and-switch scheme, Kate finds herself on the run from federal agents, including the astute Special Agent Sam Groves. As she evades capture, Kate uncovers a deeper conspiracy of deceit and murder, realizing she's stumbled into something far more dangerous than stolen jewels.
