Synopsis

Ward Littell, a former FBI agent turned Mafia lawyer, arrives in Dallas with a mandate from J. Edgar Hoover: manage the investigation into the JFK assassination and ensure the official story holds. His old partner Pete Bondurant, now a Las Vegas fixer, and a young cop named Wayne Tedrow are swept into the fallout. As the 1960s escalate through the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, and the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, the three men become entangled in a conspiracy that stretches from the underworld of Los Angeles to the halls of power in Washington.
