Synopsis
On a wet December night the Bailey family gather at an isolated hotel in the English countryside, together for the first time since the accident that broke the family ten years earlier. It is supposed to be a reconciliation.
Almost everyone there has a second reason for coming. The perfect daughter. The alcoholic. The single mother. The liar. The handsome husband. The adulterer. The beautiful sister. The jealous sibling. The murderer.
At midnight one of the party is found dead at the foot of the grand marble staircase, and the guest list becomes a suspect list.
The first of Mikayla Davids' Bailey family psychological thrillers, for readers of Lucy Foley, Lisa Jewell and Ruth Ware.
