This was a weird, dark little book.
At first, it reminded a lot of [b:It|830502|It|Stephen King|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1334416842l/830502._SY75_.jpg|150259], with the whole gang of kids and them as adults, a sole redhead girl in the group, even them building a dam in the woods...
But I really liked the book as a whole and the general theme.
What a messed up town and people though. Most of the main characters were f••••• up to some degree. At the end, I thought Eddie may be normal-ish (compared to the murderers and rapists) but nope....
I love that at the end, you can see how one thing led to another - small, seemingly insignificant actions mostly by kids - and ultimately created this big picture, this dark part of the town's history.
