Synopsis

Jim Qwilleran, a postal clerk with a knack for solving the puzzles others overlook, inherits a sprawling mansion and a mystery just as intriguing. When the local postmaster is found dead and a housemaid vanishes without a trace, Qwilleran teams up with his sharp-tongued Siamese cat Koko and the new house caretaker Iris Cobb to uncover what really happened. Set in the charming town of Pickax, Wisconsin, this installment of the Cat Who series blends a gentle mystery with the warmth of a close-knit community and a bond between a man and his talking cat.
