I saw sooo many reviews about run on sentences and crappy writing styles and too many adjectives. I didn’t have high hopes for this book after reading through the reviews (minus the spoiler ones!) but I actually did end up thoroughly enjoying it. I love that Alaina used her experience as an autopsy tech to write this book. Freaking incredible to have actual knowledge behind things as you’re writing, it makes the story more believable.
I hear there’s a sequel coming, which I absolutely can’t wait for because that ending had me PISSED.
It’s also been set for a screen adaptation as well, which now that I’ve read the book, I’m absolutely going to be watching.
