Synopsis

Gavin Guile, once the most powerful drafter the world had ever known, has lost his magic and is now on a suicide mission where failure dooms the woman he loves and success may doom his empire. Meanwhile his son Kip fights to step out of his father's shadow and rally the Chromeria's scattered forces as the White King closes in, springing traps years in the making and threatening the Chromeria itself with treason from within and siege from without.

As armies clash and old gods stir, Brent Weeks brings the five-book Lightbringer saga to its close, answering the question the series has circled from the start: who is the Lightbringer? Dense, multi-POV epic fantasy that rewards readers who've followed Kip and Gavin from the beginning.
