Mikhail Naimy
Mikhail Naimy was a Lebanese author who played a major role in modernizing Arabic literature. He wrote poetry, short stories, and essays, with notable titles including Hams al-Jufun, Al-Marahil, and Kan Ma Kan. He is also well-known for his autobiography, Sab'un, and the spiritual reflections in Zad al-Ma'ad.
