The Bone Raiders

In the grasslands of the Tapestry, the marauders known as the Bone Raiders wear the bones of the people they've killed as armor, a reputation that has kept them alive for generations. But a new Great Khan has risen with a sizeable army and a plan to erase every raider clan for good.

Sayana, a raider scout, is convinced that horses will no longer be enough to protect her people, and that their best chance lies with the giant, fire-breathing lizards that roam the Tapestry. After surviving a brutal encounter with one of the beasts, she has to prove the impossible: that a creature like that can be tamed, before the empire's soldiers catch up with her clan.
